Ah, it’s been wonderful! I know Sunnie is impatiently waiting for me to start seriously editing but I am having fun catching up on some reading myself.
I discovered Joanne Fluke’s great series about Hannah Swenson and posted a review on Goodreads. The first book of the series is Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder.
My rating: <a href=”http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/199036907″>5 of 5 stars</a><br /><br />
I am seriously loving this series. What better combo than mysteries and recipes! The books are a bit like Evanovoch’s Plum series (cute lead female, two handsome men vying for attention) without the heat. Nicely done, great tension between the characters. The coffee shop is one I would love to hang around in all morning. The mysteries Hannah helps solve are good, fairly predictable, but fun to walk through as she works through them. You may wonder how she missed that big clue but it’s all good. The recipes are to die for (pun intended!)

Also working on finishing a few of those books liste don my “Current Reading” shelf…the ones I started a year ago *flush of red up face*
Happy reading! Sunnie can learn to be patient 😉
